More Than a Lab—A Partner in Indoor Air Quality

Mold & Fungi

Trusted Mold Testing Backed by Real Data

Our mold reports include percentile-based comparisons from one of the largest indoor spore databases in North America.

Environmental Analysis Associates, Inc. (EAA) is a recognized leader in mold and fungi testing, offering detailed, scientifically grounded analysis for airborne and surface contamination. EAA was the first laboratory in the industry to develop a comprehensive nationwide database of airborne mold and dust particles collected using the Air-O-Cell® sampling cassette. This groundbreaking effort led to the creation of AIR PROFILE™, EAA’s proprietary and trademarked interpretation system.

AIR PROFILE™ provides a structured, color-coded, and statistically validated framework for evaluating indoor air quality using Optical Microscopy. By comparing mold spore counts and particulate profiles from a specific location against thousands of real-world building samples, AIR PROFILE™ brings clarity and context to lab results—allowing professionals to identify what’s typical, atypical, or elevated with precision and confidence.

Each AIR PROFILE™ report includes easy-to-read data summary tables and percentile comparisons that reflect trends across residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The system supports both airborne sampling using the Air-O-Cell® slit impaction cassette and surface sampling using adhesive tape lifts. Results focus on the most commonly encountered fungal spore types and environmental particles found indoors and outdoors.

Whether you’re assessing indoor mold concerns after water damage, investigating a health-related complaint, or validating post-remediation clearance, EAA’s mold testing services provide more than raw numbers—they offer reliable, court-defensible insights built on decades of experience and a vast national reference database.

Property Owners & Building Managers
Mold can impact tenant health, property value, and liability. EAA helps you detect and document mold before it becomes a bigger issue.
Environmental Consultants & Hygienists
EAA delivers precise lab data and AIR PROFILE™ interpretation to strengthen your reports and remediation strategies.
Attorneys & Insurance Professionals
EAA’s defensible mold reports and expert insights support claims, dispute resolution, and litigation preparation.

AIR PROFILE™ is EAA’s proprietary, trademarked system for interpreting mold and dust sample results. It compares your building’s airborne and surface particle data against a national database, helping you understand whether your results are typical, atypical, or elevated—making the findings easier to act on with confidence.

EAA uses high-precision Optical Microscopy to analyze airborne samples collected via Air-O-Cell® and surface samples collected using adhesive tape lifts. Our lab identifies and quantifies mold spores by type, providing both qualitative and quantitative results that can guide remediation, clearance, or litigation decisions.

Mold testing is recommended after water damage, during indoor air quality concerns, before or after remediation, or when preparing for legal or insurance claims. EAA’s expert analysis gives you a clear, defensible understanding of your environment backed by real-world data.

EAA doesn’t just count spores—we interpret them. Our reports include color-coded charts, national percentile rankings, and clear explanations through AIR PROFILE™, giving you insights that are easy to understand and trusted by environmental consultants, attorneys, and health professionals.
